Randomly appearing items of clothing

Whilst searching for a hat to wear to the store (shut up - I didn't want to spend 20 minutes doing my hair for 20 minutes of grocery shopping), I found a sweater in our front hall closet. It is black. Size small. Gap. It is definitely not mine, although I covet it. If it is yours, or you know who it belongs to, send a $50 ransom at your nearest convenience and I might think about giving it back. Neither The Husband or I have any idea how or when it took up residence. I'm hoping it came from another dimension. Wouldn't that be fun!

Does it by any chance have a roll neck and is knitted? Because I happen to be missing a size small Gap sweater.

Sounds like we might have a winner! I'm attempting to upload a picture for confirmation. Any idea how it ended up in my hall closet?

I had no idea how hard it is to get a black sweater to show up nicely in a photo. This is heavily edited to make it look less like a black blob. Look like the one?

Dammit - The link is too long - the last part should be 263618650

Yep, that would be it. Not sure how it got in your closet though. I am thinking that when your family was cleaning up after the wedding it must have gotten stuffed in there because they thought it was yours.

The really wierd thing is that it was sitting on top of the shoe rack. I'm confuzzled. Do you want me to look into shipping it over, or just hang onto it until you're home?

Just hang on to it. Wear it if you please. I will be home soon enough.
